Sampling

Sampling has a shape.

Every sample moves through the same run of stages, from first request to close. Velosys is being built around that run — one path, followed from start to finish.

How a sample moves.

A sample begins as a request — the style, the buyer, what's needed and by when. That request becomes a plan: the stages ahead, and the time each is expected to take.

Then the work itself. The sample is cut, stitched, and checked in DQA. It then moves to dispatch, feedback comes back, and that feedback stays with the sample. When nothing is left outstanding, it closes.

Eight stages, one after another — request, plan, cut, stitch, DQA, dispatch, feedback, close. The same defined path, every sample, every time.

The state of the sample room.

Because every sample follows that path, you can tell where any one of them sits on it — which stage it has reached, who has the next move, and whether it's running behind.

Together, that's the picture across the whole sample room: what's moving, what's waiting, and what needs attention first.

The starting point.

Sampling is where Velosys starts — not where it stops. It's being built as one connected way of working for garment manufacturers, made for how the work actually runs. The sample room is where that begins.
